My Story: From Poverty to Purpose

As I sit down to write my story, I am reminded of the journey that has brought me to where I am today. Growing up in a poorest family, I knew firsthand the struggles of poverty and the limitations it placed on our lives.

Despite the challenges, my parents instilled in me a love for learning and a determination to succeed. I remember walking miles to school every day, eager to learn and escape the poverty that surrounded me.

But life had other plans. After losing one of my parents at a young age, I was forced to drop out of school and fend for myself. I worked multiple jobs to make ends meet, but the struggle was real.

It was during this darkest period of my life that I discovered my purpose. I realized that I wanted to help others who were struggling like I was. I wanted to provide them with the education, opportunities and instill hope for the future that I never had.

And so, with the help of a few dedicated individuals, I started the Good Shepherd Orphans and Vulnerable Children's school. It was a humble beginning, with just a handful of children and a small rented space.

But we had a big vision. We wanted to provide a safe and supportive environment where children from poorest families, orphans, vulnerable and street kids could come to learn, grow, and thrive.

Today, I am proud to say that our school has grown into a thriving community of learners. We have 180 children, 7 staff members, and a network of supporters who believe in our mission.

Our story is one of hope and resilience. It's a reminder that no matter where we come from or what challenges we face, we all have the power to create positive change in the world.
